Nova Moto’s new Kawasaki Z1000 equipped with CLS EVO automatic chain greaser

Just delivered, already equipped… Of course I’m a demo bike, right? I know it’s going to be fun, intense at times, the Z750 which preceded me had time to give me some information, as we met at a long time at Gilles’ workshop, Moto Pulsion Lutterbach. It must be said that someone wasn’t in a hurry to leave the shop and leave his motorcycle of the 30 and a few thousand kilometres and the more than 4 years of Nova Moto since its creation in 2011. So, I learned that I will be Nova Moto’s ambassador, that I will count a lot for my boss and that I will also have an important role to play because the GO or NO GO of new innovations validation for Nova Moto will go through me. So let’s not waste any time, let’s go!

I can confirm how long it took to fit the device!

The description of the CLS EVO automatic chain lubrication concept has been largely made in the articles presenting the concept launched in France by Nova Moto at the end of 2015, I think Isabelle doesn’t come back to this point here. Even less on the assembly largely detailed in the tuto of the Z750 and ZZR1400. Kawa you say? It’s red or green here, I noticed, I like it! And they are a little bit obsessed too. I can testify of the assembly time, which is less related to the rough installation of the device (tank, pump, electronic control box, hoses, oil supply primer) than to the goal to make a clean and as invisible as possible fitting! As much to say that I was observed from every angle and “undressed” with great care… Oh how long was the moves of tube sleeves to mask the pipe (too short, too long) 😉 ah when you like… When do we drive? In the end – some 2 hours to 2 people, including the cutting of the “home-made” carbon support for the display, I’m ready …to receive the complete Tour kit (CLS EVO Heat with intelligent hotgrips), demo bike, so that’s it ? We’ll talk about it soon, in the meantime, here are my first working pictures. Well, what’s for sure is that, with the commuter at hand, lubrication will be provided perfectly.
