6. Simple and efficient connections: the end of « cable salads » with CLS Connect
The basic problem on modern vehicles equipped with CAN bus technology, i.e. without traditional wiring (e.g. BMW, Triumph, Ducati, Kawasaki and CAN-AM), is the connection of electronic accessories. So how do you connect the GPS, intercom or add a connection to the central system?
The CLS Connect is the tool to facilitate the installation of electronic accessories, without having to touch existing wiring, without welding, even for an unskilled audience.
RELIABILITY
– The CLS Connect detects whether the engine is running because it detects differences in battery voltage.
– The connected devices are switched on and off automatically. The duration of engine off time is programmable (for GPS for example).
– Like all CLS systems, CLS Connect is only activated when the engine is running and thus protects the battery.
