The first one: the quality of the welcome offered by Carmen, her deep desire to « welcome » her guests, to see them leave with a smile in their eyes and the desire to come back. And her great professionalism and quite outstanding sense of service. As you know, when you travel by bike, especially when the temperatures over 35 degrees, it is difficult to move around and enjoy the nature and the surroundings. Carmen has a real pleasure to welcome bikers and understands the specificities of our mode of transport.
Secondly, and not least, the beauty of the place, a Catalan house built in 1872, perfectly renovated with style and nevertheless with all the expected comfort.

A look at Castelló d’Empúries
Ideally located between the Gulf of Roses and the cultural town of Figeres (for Savador Dali fans!), this charming town is absolutely worth a stop.
The location is close to the city centre, ok, without countryside, and -that’s great- the old town of Castelló d’Empúries, its monuments, bars and nice restaurants …in light dresses! By the way, a 15 minutes walk is the minimum after a day on the road with a motorbike, isn’t it ?
Don’t worry, just a little further on, with sun cream and a cap, you’ll be in a wildlife area that will delight sports enthusiasts, and everyone else!
