Greasing the chain is an obligation for the motorcyclist, impossible to cut it, and once you have tested everything, made the grease bombs do tens of thousands of kilometres, lived the painful moments of greasing in the early morning, because of course you forgot it the evening before! – especially when it’s wet! And that you have noticed the monstrous piles of dirt that stick to the grease, when they don’t end up being thrown from the gearbox output sprocket onto the tyre (lived!), you end up resolving to lubricate your motorcycle: « Well, how about an automatic greaser? »
And, in the process, you say to yourself – the biker thinks a lot under his helmet – « invest yes, but then, don’t touch it anymore or as little as possible, and above all be sure of its efficiency »!
It’s been nearly 25 years since the first automatic motorcycle chain lubricator appeared, yet today, these systems still have a few more or less annoying disadvantages.
– Disadvantages linked to the lubrication method: let’s start with what Nova Moto knows at its fingertips, CarbonForBikes graphite lubrication, which should not be stored in a wet machine at the risk of developing surface rust, certainly easy to remove as always described in the FAQs, at point 22, but annoying. Or oil lubricators, whose viscosity changes with heat, which means that the oil has to be adapted over the seasons to compensate for changes in oil flow on the chain.
– Disadvantages related to the technique of transferring lubrication to the chain: for CarbonForBikes, a slight noise when the block wears out, for others, operating by vacuum, the oil flow or even the air/fuel ratio can be altered.

The CLS EVO difference?
This concept is a tailor-made solution for large daily or long-distance riders, made in Germany, electronic, and equipped with a pump designed and manufactured by its inventor near Nuremberg, which makes all the difference. Two versions will be distributed: a Touring version perfectly adapted to our use, even in sporty driving, up to 160 km/h, and a Sport version adapted to stabilised high-speed driving (it’s a German concept, don’t forget it!) with constant regulation of the oil flow according to needs.
Permanent chain lubrication extends chain life considerably:
– Limited wear and tear due to careful and permanent maintenance,
– Self-cleaning with constantly renewed lubricating oil
– Reduction of the chain heating phenomenon, which is the cause of its relaxation.

– Up to 2kW more power
The operation of the robust, sealed kit, including the oil tank, pump and electronics, is completely independent of the position on the machine. A few simple rules to be observed are specified in the assembly tutorial, which is be available for download. This significantly helps for installation on motorcycles with little space, whether injection or carburetor motorcycles. The same applies to vehicles equipped with CAN BUS technology. In other words, you’ll keep the same kit when you change motorcycles!

Trigger:

Mounted behind the swingarm, the manufacturer even provides a sleeve / camouflage for the hose.
Cost effective:
Average consumption: 0.6 ml / 100 km. Delivered with 500 ml.
Safety :
The electronic control of CLS, and total engine shutdown avoids any omission and overdose. On the versions with display, regular information on the level of lubrication over the kilometres also avoids excess.
Cleanliness:

On Nova Moto’s Z750 demo Z750, which traded in its CarbonForBikes solid automatic lubricator to perform the CLS EVO test. Note that the motorcycle went well beyond the 30,000 km of exclusive graphite lubrication without any sign of exhaustion, except for a little loss of green lacquer due to the friction with the greasing graphite block. For the CLS, it is literally forgotten, the digital control is very intuitive and the Z is equipped with the complete Touring CLS lubrication kit and heated grips – you can sometimes get lucky! – controlled by the same display.
