Pam and John love deeply France and the Poitou-Charentes region which they have crossed many times, stopping there like most British travellers on their way to Spain or the South of France. And one day, they decided to put their suitcases down for good!
After a day’s drive from Alsace, I found myself there alone one evening, with no desire to go back outside to find a restaurant. That’s not the point! A cold plate far too full for me was prepared on the spot and … even a fire to heat this huge living room, just for me! In other words, here, the welcome is a state of mind and everything is there, with the perfect kindness of our English neighbours, and their discretion too, to the point that everyone can really feel a little ‘at home’.
On the motorcycle side, a fantastic garage just for my Z, accessible on the same level and locked. Located on a small road, the D11, the place is very quiet and perfectly adapted to riders who want to combine adrenaline on the track of Le Vigeant, and a repairing night, but also to all motorcycle travellers passing by.
