Antonio Alarcos is raised for the first time on the Suzuki GSX-R 1000
before the first race of the RFME CEV 2015.
Speed Racing Team Suzuki opened the 2015 season with the first tests of RFME – CEV
2015 at the Circuit of Albacete. A new championship run with the rider Antonio Alarcos
on the Suzuki GSX-R 1000. The rider, who spent two days training, is very pleased with
the results. “I think we have enough information to work on the development of the Suzuki
and be ready for the race,” says Alarcos.
Both the rider and José Regaña, Team Manager, hope their adaptation to the new bike is
all for testing the next 28 and 29 March. “Alarcos has adapted well to the Suzuki. In fact,
every turn has has dropped since every mile times and appreciated how gained in
confidence and trust, “explains Regaña.
Although during the day on Friday Alarcos had a fall, which fortunately did not trumpet
groove consequences, the rider could continue rolling and “have finished the fully
satisfied and confident that they have found a good set-up tests,” says Regaña.
The Albacete is a circuit that brings good memories to Team Suzuki Racing Speed
because it has won numerous podiums. So, rider and team work hard these days before
the race to get the first podium of the season.
Antonio Alarcos (rider): “I’m very happy with the training we’ve done. We have drawn
conclusions sufficient to prepare the race and I think that we are on the right track, both
on tires and with the development of the Suzuki. I know we have to keep improving, but
the feelings are good and I think we can do very well. ”
José Regaña (Team Manager): “We open championship and hope to be in front and
fight for the top places. We are very pleased with the results we have obtained these two
days of tests in Albacete. We have been very close to the times of our rivals and we hope
that, in the career of Albacete and the remaining rounds of the championship, we can
give our fans the show they deserve.”
